This year the family decided to go non-traditional and head to the Silver Spur Ranch in Bandera, TX. It was cold & wet, but well worth the trip. The boys loved chasing the donkeys, geese & goats and Brody had a great time on his horseback ride but Kavan didn't want any part of it.
The only thing that would have made the day complete, would be having Kelly there to pull his pranks and keep us laughing. We miss him soooooo very much.

I'm keeping my eye on this place. I checked out the website and I definitely want to go! They are having some fun activities at the end of December - all you can eat BBQ, 2 step dance lessons, saloon night.
I bet they'll have some fun summertime things too.
